Cocktail Courier is a direct-to-consumer brand that delivers expertly crafted cocktail kits nationwide, offering seasonal recipes and gift boxes curated by professional mixologists. As demand grew, so did the complexity—especially given the tight regulatory restrictions around shipping alcohol across multiple state lines.
Cocktail Courier’s primary challenge was ensuring compliance with varying state laws while still providing a seamless, high-quality shopping experience. Customers needed to browse recipes, customize kits, and ship multiple orders to multiple recipients—all within a single transaction. Their previous Magento site lacked the flexibility and infrastructure to support these demands.
